Immediate opening: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Ulster County, New York. You will work at a drainage and utilities contractor. On a typical shift you will inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter. Ideal candidate: • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control Part-time with flexible hours.
