Hoist operator • Yola North, Adamawa State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a hoist operator in Yola North, Adamawa State. You will be based on a high-rise tower crane. What we are looking for: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • A good head for heights for tower crane work Your main tasks: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
