Vacancy available: gtaw welder (Nebraska)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Nemaha County, Nebraska. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. Your main tasks: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection 1+ years on the tools preferred. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
