Assembly technician wanted in City of Newport News

Now hiring: we are hiring an assembly technician in City of Newport News, Virginia. The job is in a packaging and assembly workshop. The role involves: • Clean down the workstation and keep it to 5S standard • Log defects and place rejected units in the rework bay • Solder small connectors and check the joints under a magnifier • Wear an ESD wrist strap when handling circuit boards • Snap-fit plastic housings and clip in the wiring harnesses • Report jams or tool faults to the line leader straight away You should have: • Minimum 10th pass or ITI is an advantage • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Careful handling of tools and components Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
