Vacancy available: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Colleton County, South Carolina. Requirements: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently The role involves clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
