Health and safety supervisor — Kiowa County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Kiowa County, Kansas. You will work at a manufacturing plant. What we are looking for: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements The role involves: • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements Full-time with occasional weekends.
