AC and fridge repair technician — Transylvania County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an AC and fridge repair technician in Transylvania County, North Carolina. You will be based at a food processing plant. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints Your main tasks: • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Service split AC units and VRF systems At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
