Reinforcement steel fixer — Cowley County

Now hiring: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Cowley County, Kansas. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Ideal candidate: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Your main tasks: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions 6+ years on the tools preferred.
