Urgent requirement: elevator technician (New York)

Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator technician in Oswego County, New York. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. On a typical shift you will measure rope tension and check for broken strands; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; run load and overload tests with test weights; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
