Now hiring: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Silver Bow County, Montana. You will work out the load weight and the lifting radius; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block.
