Cnc lathe operator wanted in Alcona County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Alcona County, Michigan. You will work at a busy machine shop. Your main tasks: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet Requirements: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Full-time, day shift. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
