Steel erection rigger — East Baton Rouge Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. You will select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; read lift plans and method statements before starting; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks. Requirements: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
