We are recruiting: we are hiring a marble fitter in Dorchester County, Maryland. The job is in a natural stone fabrication unit. Day-to-day duties: • Measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish • Seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers Requirements: • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
