Domestic gas engineer • Shawnee County, Kansas

Now hiring: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Shawnee County, Kansas. You will be based in a gas distribution network. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
