Now hiring: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Calloway County, Kentucky. On the job you will handle: • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads What we are looking for: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Pay around $23 per hour, based on your experience.
