Vacancy available: lift mechanic (Mississippi)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Simpson County, Mississippi. You will work on a lift modernisation project. What we are looking for: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards On a typical shift you will set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
