Requirements: • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls The role involves: • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
