Now hiring: gantry crane operator (Louisiana)

Now hiring: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Webster Parish, Louisiana. You will follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands. Ideal candidate: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • A good head for heights for tower crane work 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
