Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete placer in Warren County, New Jersey. The job is at a precast concrete yard. On the job you will handle: • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour You should have: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
