We are recruiting: we are hiring a finishing plasterer in Scotland County, North Carolina. Requirements: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work You will apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift.
