Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete finisher in City of Salem, Virginia. You will be based on a road and bridge project. What we are looking for: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Your main tasks: • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
