Now hiring: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Northwest Arctic Borough, Alaska. The role involves: • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence What we are looking for: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
