We are recruiting: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Telford and Wrekin, England. The role involves grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger. What we are looking for: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Strong attention to safety and load limits On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
