Great opportunity: we are hiring a glazier in Rappahannock County, Virginia. You will be based in a mirror and glass showroom. Requirements: • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves Your main tasks: • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions Full-time with occasional weekends.
