Ironing operator • Perkins County, South Dakota

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an ironing operator in Perkins County, South Dakota. What we are looking for: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Day to day you will clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure. Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
