Now hiring: we are hiring a fast-fit technician in Harper County, Kansas. The job is in a commercial truck tyre depot. On the job you will handle: • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts You should have: • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer 4+ years on the tools preferred.
