Quality checker — City of Fredericksburg

Immediate opening: we are hiring a quality checker in City of Fredericksburg, Virginia. You will work in an electronics assembly workshop. Day to day you will carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing. Requirements: • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Willing to work rotating and night shifts At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
