Now hiring: we are hiring a safety officer in Guzamala, Borno State. Day-to-day duties: • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
