Wood machinist — Alleghany County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a wood machinist in Alleghany County, North Carolina. You will be based in a bespoke joinery workshop. Your main tasks: • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring You should have: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
