Panel beater • Mineral County, Colorado

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a panel beater in Mineral County, Colorado. You will be based at a paint and panel shop. Day-to-day duties: • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • Treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line What we are looking for: • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines 2+ years on the tools preferred.
