Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Augie, Kebbi State. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. The role involves set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle. What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Own basic hand tools and PPE Full-time with occasional weekends.
