Ideal candidate: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) You will check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
