Gas meter installer • Ray County, Missouri

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Ray County, Missouri. You will work on commercial and industrial sites. You should have: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Able to read isometric and site drawings On the job you will handle: • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
