Rigger wanted in Island County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigger in Island County, Washington. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. The role involves attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
