Now hiring: we are hiring a flat roof installer in Greene County, Mississippi. You will be based at a roofing and cladding contractor. What we are looking for: • A good head for heights and steady balance • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day On the job you will handle: • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
