Urgent requirement: heavy equipment operator (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Craig County, Virginia. You will be based in an open-cast quarry. Your main tasks: • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones Six days a week, one day off.
