Immediate opening: kitchen steward (New Mexico)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Chaves County, New Mexico. The job is in a hospital canteen. Day-to-day duties: • Wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils • Polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass • Scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies • Sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations • Restock clean glassware and crockery behind the bar • Empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard Ideal candidate: • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards Part-time with flexible hours.
