Urgent requirement: cnc lathe operator (Wales)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in County of Flintshire, Wales. You will be based in a tool room. Ideal candidate: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Day-to-day duties: • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
