Immediate opening: we are hiring an ironing operator in Dallas County, Alabama. The job is at a garment factory. The role involves hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Part-time with flexible hours.
