The role involves: • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs • Erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets • Fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits • Insulate and ventilate the roof void • Carry out leak inspections and patch repairs Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
