AC mechanic • Yakutat City and Borough, Alaska

Great opportunity: we are hiring an AC mechanic in Yakutat City and Borough, Alaska. Your main tasks: • Recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit • Charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges • Commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum • Fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter You should have: • Able to handle refrigerant safely and aware of F-Gas rules • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience 6+ years on the tools preferred.
