Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Tipton County, Indiana. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Day-to-day duties: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
