Urgent requirement: production welder (Benue State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a production welder in Tarka, Benue State. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. The role involves weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc. Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
