Immediate opening: we are hiring a laundry presser in Montgomery County, Tennessee. The job is at a garment factory. Day to day you will check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
