Gas installation technician — Telford and Wrekin

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Telford and Wrekin, England. You will be based in a gas distribution network. You will complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances. Requirements: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Able to read isometric and site drawings Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off.
