Immediate opening: we are hiring a furniture maker in Columbia County, Georgia. The job is at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. Your main tasks: • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain Requirements: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage Full-time with occasional weekends.
