Scaffolder wanted in Haines Borough

Join our team: we are hiring a scaffolder in Haines Borough, Alaska. You will work on a busy construction site. Your main tasks: • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards What we are looking for: • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
