Heavy equipment operator • Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana

Vacancy available: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana. On a typical shift you will lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage. Requirements: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs Rotating shifts.
