Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Elko County, Nevada. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. You will fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder. Requirements: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
