CNC milling operator wanted in Tipton County

Join our team: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Tipton County, Indiana. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. Your main tasks: • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
